GbOSS manages IDIQ MACC task order projects from coast to coast, utilizing highly skilled project managers simultaneously and with great success. GbOSS develops and implements detailed Project Management, Quality Control, and Safety Plans that contribute to our continued success.

Federal Experience

National Conservation Training Center Wage Grade Shop – Design-Build

GbOSS provided full engineering, design and general construction services for a new pre-engineered metal building for use as a wage grade shop to support the maintenance needs of the National Conservation Training Center located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

The 6,000 SF building features a maintenance shop with offices, conference room, kitchen, bathrooms, locker room, heated shop area accessed by exterior overhead garage doors on the front and rear, and storage areas for parts and equipment.

GBOSS provided all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for this design-build project.

Building 1, 2nd Floor Renovation

GbOSS provided construction services for the 2nd Floor of Building 1, located at the National Energy Technology Lab in Albany, OR.

The floor layout was converted from a double load corridor of office and support space to a racetrack style layout. Renovations provided new offices, meeting/conference rooms, a kitchenette, relocated ADA men’s and women’s toilet rooms, as well as other support spaces.

The project includes installation of:

  • Two new exterior egress doors
  • Partitions with sound insulation batt
  • HVAC to serve the renovated spaces
  • Rooftop air-handling unit with ductwork
  • Lighting and electrical to meet the new space configuration
  • Automatic wet fire sprinkler system
  • Electrical room and data closet
  • Plumbing work

Center for Data Analytics and Machine Learning Renovation

GbOSS is the prime contractor for this 8,000 SF Tier III, 1.2 MW enterprise Data Center. The project provides for 3,500 SF renovations in Building 83 for office space/visualization gallery and related telecommunication space, and a two-story addition with 2,200 SF data hall at ground level, approximate 1,800 SF electrical space, telecommunication room and access corridors.

Ground West & 1 West Renovations

GbOSS accomplished this office renovation in 5 phases. Work included adding break rooms and conference rooms. This project includes the moving of non-load bearing partition walls, drywall work, new ceiling tiles, flooring, cove base, painting/staining, chair rail, signs, floor box moves and window glazing.

Work was performed in an occupied building and all building activities were kept in full operation during construction.

Design/Build IRS Childcare Center Fence and Front Gate

GbOSS provided Design/Build services to furnish and install a rail and picket style fence with man gate to access egress/sidewalk path, a vehicle gate at the existing driveway entrance, and landscaping for added privacy. The fence included:

  • 8 ft. high rail and picket style fence
  • Fence mounted along front section to the guard booth
  • A man gate with push bar for egress to the sidewalk

Since the Enterprise Computing Center’s Daycare operations were in close proximity to the Front Gate project, close coordination was employed between IRS, GSA and the Daycare clients to minimize any disruptions to Daycare drop off and parking.
